Attendance

• It is expected by law that all students attend school EVERYDAY unless genuinely sick. The school office must be notified by telephone or written letter if your child is absent from school. Our school has recently introduced "Text an Absence" Cellphone holders can Text Absences to: 021 502978. Tell us your childs first and last name and a brief reason for absence.
• If the school is not notified then an Attendance Officer from School Attendance Service Hamilton (SASH) will visit the home.
• All non notified absences will be checked on in the interests of student safety.
• Students must attend school daily to ensure they make consistent learning progress and they remain focused on their learning.
