Food
It is very important that students have breakfast before coming to school. Children cannot learn and focus on school work when they are hungry.
- It is expected that all students come to school with adequate food for morning tea and lunch.
- We encourage students to drink a lot of water throughout the day and ask students to have a suitable water bottle for use in the classroom.
- The school promotes healthy eating and drinking. Cheezels, twisties and similar highly coloured snacks are not recommended. Sweets, gum, fizzy drinks and energy drinks are not permitted.
- The school is able to provide an emergency lunch to a child who does not have food due to genuine reasons of hardship.
